Cranbrook Festival is a free local community family festival organised by a group of volunteers (the Cranbrook Festival Committee) from Cranbrook, Devon.
The festival runs once a year, usually in June and is an opportunity to celebrate the anniversary of the beginning of our new town in 2012.
The Festival Committee run according to a written constitution, on a non-profit basis.

Aims
The stated aims of Cranbrook Festival Committee are recorded in the constitution:
- To bring together the people of Cranbrook town, Devon, by staging one or more annual arts and community festival events during the year
- To showcase local talent in arts, craft, and sports
- To provide opportunities for local societies and traders to showcase their products, services and activities to the town’s residents
- To raise money for local charities
- To allow people from the town to develop themselves by contributing to the organisation and running of a community event
